RECEIVE EVIDENCE-BASED TREATMENT PROVIDED ANYWHERE IN MARYLAND THROUGH HIPAA-COMPLIANT TELETHERAPY.

Teletherapy Anywhere in Maryland

Videoconferencing allows for mental health services to be provided to clients anywhere in Maryland. All you need is WIFI, a link that I will provide, and a setting that ensures privacy. I use a videoconferencing platform that meets HIPAA standards of encryption and privacy protection.

First Session

All clients who will be participating in teletherapy are required to complete their initial evaluation in-person in order to assess whether they will benefit from teletherapy. An exception can be made for those who are homebound due to agoraphobia, OCD, or other health conditions.

Why Teletherapy?

Teletherapy allows for the delivery of mental health services to those who do not have access to evidence-based treatment in Maryland. It can help make the transition for students to in-state colleges easier, and provide continuity of care.  Exposure therapy can be practiced in real-world settings (e.g., home, school) and time of day (e.g., bedtime routines) where avoidance and safety behaviors occur, particularly for individuals struggling with agoraphobia and OCD.
